Both are wrong. For pep should not have been viraday. Tests after 90 days. Better. Also do hbsag, hcv and vdrl after 90 days of exposure.

Dear user. Thanks for the question. HIV spread through Contact between broken skin, wounds, or mucous membranes and HIV-infected blood or blood-contaminated body fluids. Deep, open-mouth kissing if both partners have sores or bleeding gums and blood from the HIV-positive partner gets into the bloodstream of the HIV-negative partner. HIV is not spread through saliva.

First of all. You need to find out the cause for this edema. Is it postural or any other reason. You need to do a few tests
urea. Creatinine. Urine microalbumin. Liver function tests (or just total protein and serum albumin)
echo.

Hello sir. Please get your serology test result confirmed by western blot, if not already done. Its better to get your self registered with a naco clinic to get life long care if you are confirmed to be hiv positive, unless you can afford private care for life. Please please don't take any arv before you are fully invested for starting arv therapy. Anyway trioday is old combination and not first choice arvs. And please take private consultation with any hiv spl for proper advice and guidance. Pl...more

Hello.
I think your Dr. gave you trioday as an post exposure prophylaxis for hiv, though it is not the most recent recommended combination. Pep should be taken with in 72 hrs of the exposure but sooner the better. However some basic tests are required before/ at the same time of starting pep.
You can consult in private for more information to avoid unnecessary meds or tests. Thanks.

Hello sir.
In the beginning you will have some side effects of the medication you are having and over the time period you may start tolerating the meds. The govt Dr. has given you the therapy that is given as per government's protocols, though new regimes are now in the who's latest protocols. Please see, since it is a life long therapy it is better to discuss your symptoms with your treating doctor. Thanks.
