consider a urgent USG for baby s heart beat and to rule out miscarriage and ectopics

Yes, you should take both medicines, as their mode of action is different. I think your wife is having high risk pregnancy, so doctor has prescribed both medicines.

Yes duphaston is to support pragnancy, its safe and can be taken in early pragnancy or if abdominal tightness is felt in late pragnancy with high risk of early labour.

I have been prescribed duphaston 10 mg after iui done. And the tablets are over. After one day I gave blood samples for beta hcg test. They told to get the report after two days. Till the I have been asked to continue duphaston tablet for 2 days. In how many days I will have periods after stopping the tablet if it's not pregnancy? And when should the beta hcg test is done after stopping the duphaston tablet? Kindly clarify!

Do not stop taking duphaston tablet without your doctor's permission. Continue all medications until you are asked to stop. After two beta hcg reports, your pregnancy result will be confirmed. You can also go for ultrasound for confirmation. If its positive, you need to continue duphaston. If its negative, you can stop.

I'm trying for pregnancy i've pcod also my doctor suggested me duphaston tablet to take on 15-25th days after 3 days i'll get my periods but I need to get pregnant. I asked my doctor regarding this tablet she told though you can get pregnant with duphaston if not you will get periods like that. What my doctor is correct or not? Is duphaston tablet really help for pregnancy?

If you have pcod, you need to check if you are ovulating or not through further tests. If you are, duphaston would be enough. If not, you require induction.

Hi doctor need help. Last month 25th feb I hav force periods with duphaston yhis time also no natural periods Dr. gave me duphaston for 5 days and glyciphage tablet for 3 months course its been week. Now after completing duphaston course no periods yet. As per my reports no pcos no thyroids no cyst all. Clear suggest me what to do.

How many days have passed after stopping duphaston as it takes 3 to 8 days after stopping duphastone to get withdrawal bleeding if there is no pregnancy or other problem.
If 8 days have passed and no withdrawal bleeding consult gynecologist for change in treatment after some reports.
