Hi
No, nothing will occur in your body because of this reason. It is recommended but not compulsory. Blood donation helps in reducing the risk of heart and liver ailments caused by iron overload in the body that by the process of blood donation are maintained at healthy levels. These heart or liver related ailments can be avoided by indulging into a healthy diet and lifestyle too.

One should not take dexamethasome to treat fever. You should have patience. Keep checking the fever (with a thermometer) and see for other symptoms. CBC and urine routine can also be done. Culture can also be done to ascertain the strain. If it is viral then simple symptomatic treatment is enough and no antibiotics are required.

Hello dear Lybrate user,
Warm welcome to Lybrate.com
I have evaluated your query thoroughly.* Dexamethasone is a steroid which will work as heroin or cocaine in your sex drive, after use of it you will be dependent upon it, so not recommended at all.* Cyproheptidine can be taken but it is not the absolute medication for this issue. Hope this clears your query. Wishing you fine recovery. Welcome for any further assistance. Regards take care.
