It is good if you have used combination of deflazacort and tamsulosin. This is best for expulsion of stone but if still it has not come out and is giving you problem then better'to get it removed endoscopically by a urologist.

Leg Pain If you have leg pain then you have to rule out the causes for having leg pain. First of all check your weight and your haemoglobin levels, as Anaemia always leads to the symptoms of being tired and also having leg pain though there are no issues with the knee joint or back pain. If not if the pain radiates down the back of thigh and legs then it might be due to sciatica. Kindly consult the nearby physiotherapist. Hope you recover soon from the leg pain.

It's in your best interest if you consult a pulmonologist (dm pulmonary medicine or md chest and tb) who will assess her again and ascertain the need to restart deflazacort. Although you should not discontinue this medicine abuptly but now when you have already done you should not restart it by yourself.
I wish her good health!

I am bishnu from odisha & this is regarding my mother age 57 yrs. Since last 7 months she is having problems like hand pain, foot pain, knee pain upper back pain. And all these r sensational pain like pain in nerves. Unable to hold a glass tightly & d time she leave d glass, d nerves pain. Even after 15 to 30 minutes of continuous sitting/sleeping it's very difficult to stand & hands and foot also pain severely. After doctors consultation (immunology & rheumatology), she is taking medicines since last 6 months. After lockdown we tried to contact same doctor through phone call, but couldn't. But d nurse/assistant advise to continue d medicines. And last 4 months she is taking d same medicines continuously. In between, around 15 to 20 days she couldn't take medicines becoz of unavailability. And the symptoms got worsen. Medicines details - defza 6 tab, transgaba nt 400 tab, etova 400 tab, pantodac 40 tab, hcqs 300 tab, nanofast gel, telmikind 40 tab. So my question is whether it is safe to continue d medicines? Bcoz all medicines r having some side effects. And she can't even stop taking them bcoz it worsen the symptoms. As hospital (sum hospital, bhuvaneshwar) is far away from our village, it is not possible to visit during this period. Please help with your valuable advice. Thank u, bishnu.

Hello Mr. lybrate-user, probably your mother was diagnosed having rheumatoid arthritis which needs prolonged treatment. But continuing the aforementioned medicines (especially etodolac, deflazacort and pregabalin) without monitoring is not at all suggested.
Better you consult nearest available pain and rheumatology specialist. Or you can consult me online.
Take care.
