In general, the normal range in males is about 270 to 1070 ng/dL with an average level of 679 ng/dL. And you have the average level of testosterone. Normal results for free cortisol and a blood sample taken at 8 a.m. Range between 6 and 23 micrograms per deciliter (mcg/dL. Higher-than-normal cortisol levels may indicate that: your pituitary gland is releasing too much ACTH due to a tumor or excess growth of the pituitary gland.
Your free cortisol is too high and you need a check up.

Hello lybrate-user the adrenal gland release certain hormones which further affect the proper functioning of other glands so it's better to investigate the problem or proper test should be done to rule out the cause. U can opt for ayurvrdic treatment n practice yoga which really help to control proper functioning of the body.

Cortisol levels are different in morning, afternoon and night
So kindly specify the timing at which the tests were done
And normally cortisol levels are high in early morning and if blood sample for your reading was early morning than your levels will be considered to be low
