Dear lybrate-user,
You brother having Hep B, C and HIV is a rare and difficult case to manage. More so, such a patient can not be managed through internet. I need to see him, investigate him accordingly.
2) Hep. C is now curable, and excellent medicines are available at less than 1% of international cost.
3) Hep. B treatment should be covered in HIV treatment itself.
4) There is something wrong with HIV Viral Load Zero, can you send me the report.

I have horrible back pain. I have been perceived very very strong pain medication and it does nothing. I have been on codeine, tramadol, hydrocodone, morphine, dilaudid, oxycodone, buprenorphine, and hydromorphone. Nothing works. I have been given that medication by pills, shots and i.v's. I have been on 4 32 mg of hydromorphone and it does nothing for me in fact I don't even feel an side effects. This medication should knock out an elephant but it does nothing at all for my pain. Medication that should bring a 400lbs to the ground does not even effect me and 160lbs woman. I don't take the medication regularly so it should help with my pain but nothing. I'm also on 30 mg of diazepam and that to does nothing for me. I feel like i'm going to be looked at as a drug seeker. That could not be any further from the truth. I just want pain relief. I can't explain why my body just does not respond properly to any drugs. I'm really at a loss right now. My pain is so bad I can't roll over in bed and when it spikes I can't breathe.

If you are in good condition as you say, you are indeed fortunate. But you must consult a doctor before quitting this addiction. It is safe but the doctor may want to examine you thoroughly before recommending a proper manner for deaddiction. Otherwise, you may also visit a hospital for deaddiction over two weeks. In view of your opioid dependence, you should get admitted at a psychiatric hospital or an approved de-addiction center for the management of your illness. If even after your leg amputation, you are unable to control the substance use, that itself shows that the severity of the illness is quite high. So, contact your nearest hospital at the earliest.
