Sir, you already are on three medications for your Hypertension. Lercanidipin, Atenolol and Losartan. All these medicines have their own share of side-effects. Your doctor must have prescribed them to you with a purpose. May be that your blood pressure was not coming under control with single drug. Along with the drugs have you exercise schedule in place. As you said your physical activity is nil. Try to improve that first. Plus you need to control your stress and anxiety. Healthy diet low in salt, fat, simple carbohydrate and rich in fibres, vegetables along with daily exercise may help to control your bp.

1.Your blood sugar is under control, continue with metformin tablet
2.Your Bp is not under control. The combination of amlodepine with hydrochlorothiazide is effective in controlling Bp.
3.Continue for some days, reduce your salt intake, control your diet, go for regular exercise.
4.Monitor your BP and if still it is not controlled, consult physician for alternative medicine like Telmasatan with amlodepine
