Hi lybrate-user. If your bp is controlled and your are getting sound sleep you can take trika sos which means when needed. However don’t stop your metoprolol suddenly as it may cause rebound hypertension.

Avoid day time sleep. Have Morning and evening walk at least for half an hour each time. Avoid alcohol and smoking if having means. Avoid spicy food during nights. Have one cup of milk one hour before bed. Don't watch TV before bed. Try to reduce stress. It is not advisable to have medication for insomnia. Consult personally if needed with an appointment.
