Hi lybrate-user, thank you for your query. White coat hypertension per se might not be the actual reason for your elevated bp. Kindly consider other factors like: stress from work or home, eating food that’s high in sodium or consuming a lot of caffeine etc. The list goes on.
Regarding alprax, that is a treatment modality considered for anxiety or panic attacks.
If possible kindly rest for 15-30 mins before bp check up. Keep your mind open. Hypertension if present is treatable.

Headache after 10 days cannot be related to alprazolam (alprax). The headache is a common symptom and it is not related to alprazolam taken 10 days back. The maximum dose of alprazolam is upto 4 mg / day however in elderly it is 1-2 mg/day.

Anxit is alprazolam a benzodiazepine which should not be taken for more than 2 weeks. It leads to severe long term harm like early dementia, cognitive impairment, personality changes, agitation, even withdrawal seizures and brain shrinking. It has been named in a misleading way for gullible people. I am not sure how you got hooked on to it. Kindly consult a psychiatrist and take proper medicine for your stress. All the best.

No. Alprax is a temporary solution for anxiety, it should not be taken for a long time. Ssri, snri or tca group of medication can be given after consulting a psychiatrist. Good luck.

Generally it is for short term use . Even though meet a doctor to take help in reducing the dose.never stop abruptly . Take care of your health properly with lots of vitamin enrich fruits and less simple food with green veges etc. Do pranayam and some more physical workout to reduce the symptoms.

I had chest pain and doctor advised testing ecg, echo cardiograph, troponin test, stress test, blood test haemogram, sugar, liver etc all test are negative no issues, but chest pain is still there, I am able to do work normally no issue in breathing, able to walk 8 km per day. Doctor gave me temla40+metoprolol 25 once a day and night ecosprin av 75 mg, but some times I get good sleep some times not, heat beat is fast at night and I get up.in morning I have lot of pain on my cheat area, but I am normal I go for walk 5 km no issues in doing so. Can you suggest is this due to any blockage issues or like pulmonary embolism or is this just anxiety/stress kindly advice, I had a good lifestyle and used to play daily tennis 2 hours and yoga pranayam, playing badminton before this issue, now I am walking around 7 km daily. I have gone to all doctors but no improvement, bp is normal like under 140/90 even I do not take temla 40/metoprolol 25 bp does no increase. I want some one to give me correct diagnosis what exactly is issue. Doctor also advice me in anxiety is more take alprazolam or alprax 5 mg. When I take alprazolam or alprax I feel normal.
