Adilip 135Mg Tablet Dr Health Feed

I am 62 years old. Weight 70 kgs now after maintaining 68 kgs in the previous 2 years. My lipid profile is controlled by taking 1 stanlip 145 mg at night only for last 7 years. For a very marginal sugar level of 130 (fasting) &150 (postprandial), I take Glyciphage SR500 1 after lunch (2 PM) and 1 after dinner (9 PM). But for the above I am normal. I normally do some deskwork on my laptop, watching TV or listening to music and go to sleep after midnight. Coming to my specific problem, I feel bearable pain of 3 in a scale of 0-10. The area of pain starts from about 6 inches to my left from my naval point. If I move my left hand from that point to further left, the pain area extends to another 6 inches or so. The pain exists not on the outer skin surface but approx from one cm from the outer skin inside the slightly hard flesh/muscle. There is zero pain my right side. And completely No pain on the back side if my move my fingers further parallel to the ground, on to my back. When I press with my fingers gently the pain increases to 5 of10. I feel the pain while I turn in the bed. When I sleep turning with my left (pain) portion down and do not move, the pain is not felt. The pain started 72 hours back at around 9 am and continues till now. It is uniform pain of 3 of 10 and has not increased. I do not know what caused it. I remember 2 days before the pain started that when I was moving in the scooter slowly, put my left foot down firmly to stop the vehicle apart from applying the breaks with one pillion. But that was very mild and I doubt if that can be the reason. While working for long hours sitting before laptop, I almost do not feel the pain. Kindly clarify to me the cause of pain for about 72 hours, pls give me a remedy without prescribing a series of medicines or going to doctor immediately. Pls give simple remedies to try and start with. I as a layman, also feel that the pain may just go away naturally in another day or two. I may be right or wrong. Awaiting your response.

Hello from the data it is uncertain whether your blood sugar is under control or not. Triglyceride level is too high it can lead to pancreatitis, hence start immediately on atorvastatin plus fenofibrate tablets. Simultaneously you have to have strict blood sugar control. Also inform about hba1c level.

Triglycerides are manufactured in liver from alcohol sugar jaggery and starchy foods. Reduce these in your diet. Tonact is needed for patients of blockages. TG is fenofibrate, required for very rare diseases. So you are taking 2 medicines for no good reason, try to reduce, not increase medicines. Best wishes.

What is infernal? Ativan roseday and Fenofibrate are 3 strong medicines that are not BP medicines. They are for other conditions, like psychiatric trouble, heart attack, etc. Avoid taking long term medicines unless you have understood the benefits and risks.

Rozat is required after heart attack, not before. Rozat f has fenofibrate that should be used in very rare cases. Meet your Dr. and discuss need to reduce these meds. Sgot/pt can be deranged with these medicines, or because of high level of soluble calories in diet.

All medicines have undesired effects. Cholesterol medicines like rosulife are required in patients with blockages, very rarely for abnormalities in cholesterol levels. You medicine includes F.
F is fenofibrate, another medicine required only if triglycerides exceed 800. Using multiple medicines over long periods because of cholesterol fear is unhelpful, probably bad for health.
For good health talk to people who are healthy at ninety, not to anyone else. Best wishes.

Saroglitazaar is not used for Diabetes Mellitus, but used to reduce blood Triglycerides level. Other than this medication, Niacin or Fenofibrate can also be used to reduce Triglycerides. Reduction in Triglycerides can have positive effect on the blood sugar levels.

Hello Coversyl plus is for your blood pressure and has no effects on your triglycerides. Triglycerides per say individually is a risk factor for future heart problem, stroke, pancreatic and should be treated. My recommendation would be 1) you should lose some weight as according to your height, you are 8-10 kgs overweight 2) diet would be the key, though you would know the do's /don't, smaller meals 4-5 times will help i'm decreasing triglycerides. 3) supplement like omega 3 fatty acid 1-2 gm a ...more

lybrate-user, Thanks for the query
It is very essential to achieve a strict blood glucose control with fasting < 100 mg, PP 150 to 170 mg & HbA1c% < 6.8. Plus do regular exercise and take a healthy diet, avoid saturated fats and and maintain normal weight. There is no specific treatment for fatty liver. Even TGL can be controlled with diet and exercise. If need be Fenofibrate may be taken. Thanks.
