Hi lybrate-user, your face has darkened because one of the side effects of isotretinoin is it makes your skin more sensitive to sunlight. While starting anyone on isotretinoin, it is imperative to avoid sun exposure and wear sunscreen at all times.

Good evening lybrate-user. I will begin straight with the answer, yes, isotretinoin can cause irregularities in your menstrual cycles. It would be advisable to stop it for the time being. You are also breastfeeding your baby so I would recommend you to stop acutret for now. Also, re consult your dermatologist as well as your gynaecologist. There may be many different reasons for your cycle irregularities including stress, lack of sleep or proper diet in addition to other factors.

You have taken 2400 mg of isotretinoin, it's time to stop if acne is gone but continue with topical agents (ointment and facewashes) l not containing any retinoid further, and check your lipid profile that is very important. Also you can further consult in private and share pics of affected area to get proper prescription.

Yes, acutret is a good option for Rosacea. But you will need to take 20mg based on your weight. Hope your doctor has explained about isotretinoin and the caution you have to take while taking it. Aur aapko regularly sunscreen lagana hoga.

Isotretinoin makes the skin dry by reducing the sebum (oil on skin, that’s how it works. Your lips also get dry. Local application of acne cream also add to it. Your dermatologist will be able prescribe suitable moisturiser depending upon your skin condition.

It's same. Acne or pimples. Due to hormonal changes. Oily skin causes it. Common in adolescent age. May occur in adults also. Food like Oily foods, ice cream, chocolate and sweets increase it. Treatment depends on the grade of pimples or acne. So, please consult me in my clinic or consult me by direct online consultation by sending photos as it's a must to see which grade of pimples or acne for accurate diagnosis and treatment.
