Weight Gain Diet It is not a good idea of Increasing intake of junk foods and fatty foods to gain weight. You should be eating calorie dense yet nutritious food. Your calorie intake should come from foods that are healthy for you. The weight gaining diet should include high protein foods, high carbohydrate foods and healthy fats. Include these in your diet. Breakfast: Banana and milk or banana shake or smoothie, whole-grain toast, fruits, nuts. Eat more fruit and drink less juice. Do not take milk mixed with ghee . It is not healthy. Lunch: Roti or chapatti or wholegrain bread, rice, green vegetables, paneer, dal, chole recipe, black-eyed beans (lobia), rajma, whole wheat pudding (dalia), etc Dinner: Similar to lunch In-between meals:: fruit, sandwich, yogurt (curd), milk, cheese, salad Avoid deep fried snacks like samosa (samosa recipe), pakodas, bhujia etc. Avoid fast foods including donut. Following is a list of weight gain foods. 1. Protein is the key for the muscle building. Without adequate protein, muscle gain and growth is not possible because weight training demands for amino acids (which comes from protein). You should daily eat about 2.2g of protein per kilogram of your weight. For example, if you are 50kg , then you should eat 50x2.2=111g of protein spread over 5-6 meals in the day. Include high protein foods in your diet. Your protein intake should be from foods rather than from supplements. Good protein foods: beans,soybeans, whey, fish, dairy products (low fat variety), meats, nuts and seeds (almonds, peanuts, pumpkin seeds, sesame seeds, sunflower seeds), peanut butter. Many of these are easy digestible foods. Milk is one of the best muscle foods. The milk contains two high quality proteins, about 80 percent whey and 20 percent casein. Whey is quickly broken down into amino acids and absorbed into the bloodstream. Whey is very good to consume after workout. Casein is digested more slowly and provides the body with a steady supply of protein for a longer period of time. Cheese is concentrated milk, so it is high in protein and calcium, fat and cholesterol. Include healthy skim yogurt in your diet, which can give you as much as 120 calories. 2. Eat custard apple (Saripa, Sitaphal) to put on some weight. This fruit is high in calorie. 3. Healthy fats: Avoid fatty foods. Most mothers, especially in India give too much ghee or butter to their children, thinking they will put flesh fast. But ghee is mostly saturated fat which is not a healthy fat for any body. Healthy fats are monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fats and omega-3 fatty acids. Good fats: cold pressed oils (olive, sunflower, linseed, canola ). 4. Drink pure fruit juice. It is full of sugar and added nutrients so it is a healthy and nutritious way to gain some pounds. 5. Complex carbohydrates are also needed for gaining weight.. Corn bread is also full of carbohydrates, one piece gives approximately 328 calories. Potatoes are rich sources of carbohydrates and complex sugars, eat baked or as grilled potatoes. Pasta is a calorie rich cereal carbohydrates. 6. Eat bananas. These are rich in carbs and nutritious, one banana contains approximately 100 calories. 7. Some people think that drinking beer helps, but it is not true, it accumulates in your abdomen, making it fatty. 8. Don't take protein supplements for gaining muscles. Consult your doctor for protein supplements. 9. Non Vegetarian Foods Some of the non-vegetarian foods that help increase weight are given below: 1. Red Meat lean ground beef, lean steaks. 2. Pork, ham, lamb 3. Fish: Eat two portions of salmon, cod, or tuna every day. 4. Shrimps: The nutrients and necessary acid content present in shrimps gives healthy calories. 5. Turkey 6. Chicken breast Chicken breast, is supposed to be the healthiest and non-fat part which has approximately 78 calories for each serving. 7. Whole eggs: Eggs are loaded with protein, vitamins A,D and E.

In view of age and height the weight is less. Stop all worries, be calm and positive, may chant some mantra of your liking, have regular food and fruits, take daily two times bath morning and evening: 1- capsule stresscom-dabur 500mg twice in a day with water 2- scalp massage with almond or brahmi oil before bed time 3-khaskhas seeds- khakra 100 gm + jayfal-nutmeg one, make powder, add 6-7 gm in 200 ml of milk + water 100 may add some sugar boil for 10-12 minutes and consume at night before bed report after three weeks

Headache can cause insomnia and vice versa can occur too. Relieve your headache first with over the counter available analgesics like paracetamol or ibuprofen. Once headache is relieved you will get good sleep. If problem persists or recurs consult again.

Hello If symptoms are sneezing, Running nose, blocked nose 1.Take proper rest/ lot of fluids 2. and Take proper home made diet. 3. Do Steam inhalation carefully by steam inhaler twice a day for 2-3 days, 4. You can take Tablet Levocetrizine 5 mg one tablet after food once a day bedtime for 3 days.(if history of allergy to this medicine is not present) Consult Ent doctor for further management

Dear, if you do not feel hunger then to increase your hunger, I suggest you these best tips- * take 10 gms powder of carom seeds (ajwain, 10 gm powder of cumin (jeera), 10 gm of rock salt. Mix them well and take 1/2 teaspoon (3-5 gm) of mixture daily once. *take 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper (kali mirch), 1/ 2 tea spoon of jeera (cumin), 2-3 slice of ginger. Boil it in one glass of water for 2-3 minutes. Drink 5-10 teaspoons (15-20 ml) in morning and evening. *sit in the position of bajrasana yogasana twice a day. You can ask me about the detail of these asanas. * practice gomukhasana everyday in the morning. * if you still do not feel hunger and feel some heaviness in stomach then check out your liver function test and take 1 tea spoon of liv-52 syrup daily one time. * walk for atleast 15-20 minutes daily and avoid long duration continuos sitting. * avoid taking alcohol and smoking. * check out your thyroid profile and take proper treatment if results are positive. * regularly take a citrus fruit like orange or a glass of lemon juice atleast for 1 month.

Hair loss is extremely common, affecting about 50 million men and 30 million women hair-loss prevention depends on the underlying cause. Good hair hygiene with regular shampooing is a basic step but is probably of little benefit. Good nutrition, especially adequate levels of iron and vitamin b, is helpful. Treatment of underlying medical conditions like thyroid disease, anemia, and hormonal imbalances may useful in prevention. A good daily multivitamin containing zinc, vitamin b, folate iron, and calcium is a reasonable choice, check your blood cbc, tsh, serum ferritin and send reports . As hypothyroidism and anemia can also cause hair fall here are a few things you can do to prevent your hair from falling: 1. Follow a healthy lifestyle, 2. Take care of your hair, 3. Avoid things bad for your hair, and 4. Adopt simple home treatments. 1. Follow a healthy lifestyle hair, like your skin and your nail, is often a barometer of general health. If you are healthy, your hair will probably look good. And if your hair is falling, it could be a sign of possible health problems. So everything you do for good health also applies to hair: eat your fruits and vegetables (vitamin b, iron, calcium and zinc have especially been linked to healthy hair); always consume a protein-rich diet (hair is made of proteins), and drink adequate water.

Use antidandruff shampoo daily. Use keshkanti oil from ramdev at bedtime it is really effective do pranayam daily for ten minutes. Take tablet keralego men daily for six months.

Loosing 50 to 60 strand on daily basis is normal.Growth and fall ratio is 80:20.Always 20 percent of the hair are into fall phase.Loosing hair while oiling,washing and combing is normal.If the hair comes out even on slightest touch or if you notice lot of hair on pillow then it is considered as hair fall. Eat food which is rich in minerals,protein and iron.Drink 3 lit of water/day.Oil the scalp 3/week and wash it 3/week to condition it. Take care

Hello , just go with the doctor suggestion. Apart from the belwo: you can control diabetes by having a medication prescribed by doctor. Its a degenerative disease inside from your body. But to completely get rid of diabetes, you should have a better control on your food habits. Along with your medication, if you take a proper diet of proteins, amino acids, vitamins and minerals these will work on your body hormonal balancing system once your harmon are working in a balancing way, slowing your degenerative diseases will be repaired and medication dosage will come down. Eventually you can continue diet without medication. Preparing your diet and nutrition chart doesn't much time, maximum half day. Let me know if I can help you with best nutrition. Get rid of diabetes will take time as this degeneration might happened from a long time, but we only come to know when you have a sympton out of it. Let me know for more info.

Hi, you must be feeling uninterested in daily routine, also frustrated about the fact that something is not alright! you have mentioned that you are under depression for past two days and are on medications since but not seeing any change. Well, you will have to give sometime for the medicine show some effect. So be patient and meanwhile you can do other activities to feel better like spend some time with close friends, go for movie, watch comedy serials, pursue some hobby, go for walk, do exercise, eat balanced food, listen to music, keep yourself engaged in some activity. Have fixed timings for meals and sleep. Sleep n wake up at same time irrespective of whether you get sleep or not. It's also important to look for the reasons for your depression. I hope your doctor has referred you to a counsellor to unburden yourself off your pain and issues. If you aren't seeing any counselor then do so asap. Take care.

Premature greying is greying before the age of 30 yr. After that it is natural physiological process. There are various reasons involved in it. Genetic inheritance is the main causative reason. Stress, nutritional deficiency esp vitamin b, thyroid problem triggers it further. Oiling is very important as it helps in conditioning the scalp. Protein rich food is good for hair. Melanin ; the pigment which gives colour to hair is also produce through protein. Sprouts, beans, nuts give proteins. Green leafy vegetable support iron. Drinking 3 lit of water /day helps to support minerals. Consult trichologist for treatment.

Diabetes cannot be cured. If managed well enough, it can be curtailed to avoid complications such as kidney failure, amputation, blindness and stroke. Preventing or managing diabetes requires clinical interventions as well as lifestyle changes. Medication is only one small part of managing diabetes. The major changes come from self-care activities. There are five essential self-care behaviours that have good outcomes. 1.Diet – Consume a low-fat, high-fibre diet helps. Eat lot of fruits, vegetables (at least 4-5 helping a day) along with whole meal, cereals and lentils 2.Exercise for at least 30 minutes a day, 5 days a week. 3.Medications – Be compliant with the dosages. 4.Testing - Monitoring blood sugar and screening for complications 5.Psychology – Acceptance, coping and problem solving skills.
