I am over weight and I face problems following diet because I get bored of the same dishes.
Hello, you can lose weight with our daily customized diet charts based on your food habits, lifestyle, blood group & medical history. Few general tips for weight loss are: Have a high protein, high fibre diet which is low in fat and carbohydrates. Never skip meals. Have 5-6 small and frequent meals in a day instead of 3 heavy main meals. Have a healthy breakfast with oats/wheat flakes with milk, fruit, egg, sandwich. Have light and early dinners. Avoid sweets, processed foods, fried foods, junk foods. For constipation problem eat high fiber diet like fruits and vegetavle salad, oats, all chilka dal.

Hello, You can gain weight with eating a high calorie diet daily. Try to eat healthy foods after every 2- 3 hours. You can have dry fruits like kaju, kismis, almonds, dates, paneer / cheese sandwiches for your breakfast, don't skip you breakfast as breakfast gives you energy. Add one more chapati and rice to your lunch & dinner. Have green vegetable, paneer veg, dal / rajma / kadhi / chole eggs in your meals. In between have milkshakes, idlis, dhokla, sandwiches, chaat, bhelpuri etc You can increase your weight through diet. Add extra calories in your diet and protein intake also. Include milkshakes, dried fruits, milk and milk products, fruits and vegetable salads. Eat small and frequent meals atleast 5-6 meals in a day.

Hello Lybrate user, according to your height you have to gain atleast 6-8 kgs. Include eggs, milk, cheese, smoothies, shakes ,peanut butter in your daily diet. In fruits and veggies include starchy veggies like banana, mangoes, chiku, kiwi, potato, arbi, chicken, fish, nuts, pine apple. Take 3 large meals and 3 small meals in a whole day. Do some weight lifting exercise, less cardio.

Some examples include: yogurt, cheese Broccoli, kale, Oranges, Tofu, peanuts, peas, black beans, baked beans, Salmon, sardines Sesame seeds, corn tortillas, brown sugar.

Skip the sugary drinks. No sweet tea. No juice. No soda. No sweetened lemonade. Don't drink your sugar, Sugary drinks provide nothing more than empty calories, and they won't help you feel full. "All the sugary drinks out there are a real risk factor for obesity, You still can eat many of the foods you like, just have smaller amounts of them, Cut out high-calorie, junky snacks. Remember that even healthy foods can lead to weight gain if you eat too much of them, and being overweight is a primary risk factor for type 2 diabetes. Fill up on fiber. Eat plenty of high-fiber foods, including vegetables, fruits, beans, and whole grains. Fiber helps you feel fuller longer and can help you eat less to avoid weight gain. At least half your plate should be fruits and vegetables that have been steamed or sauteed in healthy fats. Those veggies can be fresh, frozen, or canned. Just skip the canned vegetables with added salt. Be choosy about fats. Your diet should have some fat, but opt for the healthiest sources: olive and vegetable oils, nuts, seeds, and avocado. Buy low-fat or fat-free dairy products such as reduced-fat cheeses, non-fat or low-fat yogurt, and skim milk. Drink alcohol only in moderation. Men should have no more than two drinks a day, women no more than one. Stay hydrated. Drink plenty of water. People often mistake thirst for hunger, which can lead to overeating and weight gain. Hi lybrate-user, Increase your Vitamin C Intake Low hemoglobin levels due to a deficiency of vitamin C can be corrected by eating more foods rich in vitamin C. Iron cannot be fully absorbed by the body without the help of this vitamin. Eat foods rich in vitamin C like papaya, oranges, lemon, strawberries, bell peppers, broccoli, grapefruit, tomatoes and spinach. You can also take vitamin C supplements after consulting your doctor. 3. Take Folic Acid Folic acid, a B-complex vitamin, is required to make red blood cells. So, a folic acid deficiency automatically leads to a low hemoglobin level. Some good food sources of folic acid are green leafy vegetables, liver, rice, sprouts, dried beans, wheat germ, fortified cereals, peanuts, bananas, broccoli and liver. 4. Beetroots Beetroot is highly recommended to increase hemoglobin levels. It is high in iron, folic acid as well as fiber and potassium. Its nutritional value helps increase the body’s red blood cell count. Cook 1 to 2 beetroots along with their peels in a microwave. You can prepare a healthy juice with 1 medium-sized beetroot, 3 carrots and 1/2 of a sweet potato. Drink it once daily. 5. Apples An apple a day can help maintain a normal hemoglobin level. Apples are rich in iron along with various other health-friendly components that are required for a healthy hemoglobin count. Eat at least 1 apple (if possible, opt for green apples) with its skin daily. You can also prepare a glass of juice by mixing 1/2 cup each of apple juice and beetroot juice. Add a little ginger or lemon juice and drink it twice daily. 6. Blackstrap Molasses A folk remedy used to fight anemia and increase your hemoglobin level is blackstrap molasses. Blackstrap molasses contains iron, folate and many B vitamins that can help increase red blood cell production efficiently.

Hello lybrate-user, what is your height and weight so that I can tell you that you are normal or underweight. To increase weight add high calories and high protein diet but remember eat only good foods that provide you energy. Eat healthy and balanced food specially your breakfast. Include poha, upma, oats, eggs, paneer sandwiches, parantha (prepared only in olive oil. Use healthy oil for cooking. Drink lots of water. Add icrcreams, sweet dishes, fruits like mango, banana, peanut butter etc.

Hi, tell me your height and weight, to reduce weight, you need to restrict your carbohydrates (rice, potato, breads, noodles) and fat (fried foods, junk foods like burgers, pizza) intake. Have a protein -rich diet with more of milk & milk products like paneer, curd, also soybean, eggs, chicken, pulses, sprouts. Avoid sugar-based foods & sweets. Include 2-3 servings of fruits & vegetables daily.
