Dear users, no medicines have any proven effect to increase breast size . To increase breast size, following are the options Massage your breasts daily for about 30 minutes. It MAY increase your breast size a little, but results are very unpredictable . Breast implants are time tested and successful option for increasing the size of breasts. These are saline or silicon implants which comes in various sizes and gives a long lasting increase in breast size with a very natural appearance and near normal feel. Another option is lipofilling filling in which your own fat from the tummy and thighs is used to fill up your breast and increase its size. It gives an additional advantage of shaping your body. It however may require stages and actual results are seen in 4 months time.

Homeopath,
Dear lybrate user, increasing weight does not mean that you will go fatty. In fact, extra fat serves as a precursor of many diseases. In order to increase your weight as well as stay healthy you have to increase the muscle mass of your body. Normally a muscle undergoes an increase in size when it gets hypertrophied due to weight training. Weight-training leads to the pumping of blood to the muscle resulting in increased protein synthesis in the muscles. This applies to every muscles of human body. So, weight training is a must to increase weight. Whenever a muscle gets hypertrophied it demands protein to expand. Here comes the need of protein supplement. The most effective protein supplement is whey protein. For quicker & better results take 40 grams of whey just after waking from sleep at morning. Take another 20 grams of whey just 30 minutes before workout. Again take 40 grams of whey just after you have finished your workout. Kindly remember gaining weight is a time -taking process. So do not expect any result within fortnight.

I am 24 years old and from past 2 years I am trying to increase my body weight. Taking extra diet as well but it's not working. I How can I gain weight safely? Can you please help me?

PGDD, RD, Bachelor of Home Science

Hye, Thanks for the query. Being underweight can be a concern if it's the result of poor nutrition. Here are some healthy ways to gain weight when you're underweight: Eat more frequently. When you're underweight, you may feel full faster. Eat five to six smaller meals during the day rather than two or three large meals.Choose nutrient-rich foods. As part of an overall healthy diet, choose whole-grain breads, rice and cereals; fruits and vegetables; dairy products; lean protein sources; and nuts. Don't fill up on diet soda, coffee and other drinks with few calories and little nutritional value. Instead, drink smoothies or healthy shakes. Snack on nuts, dried fruits and fresh fruits. Even when you're underweight, be mindful of excess sugar and fat. An occasional slice of cake or ice cream is fine. But most sweets should be healthy and provide nutrients in addition to calories. Sheera, lassi and chikki are good choices. Exercise, especially strength training, can help you gain weight by building up your muscles. Exercise may also stimulate your appetite.

Hello, Gaining weight is a slow process which requires patience and dedication! It not only depends upon the amount of food you consume daily, but also about eating Sensibly, depends upon your genes, your body's proper metabolism, assimilation and absorption, the levels of stress/ tension in your life, and any underlying medical condition you have! The food what and how you eat, makes the difference! For increasing your weight, concentrate on the below points ( if you don’t have any medical condition) which helps in gaining weight in a right way without harming your body. - Consume more healthy fats. Foods containing healthy fats are full of nutrients and also high in calories, making them a great option for weight gain. Foods containing plant fats should be your first option - this includes items such as nuts, seeds, peanut butter, avocados and olive oil. Foods containing healthy animals fats include lean meats and full fat dairy products - although if you have high cholesterol, you should probably stick to low-fat options. -Eat more protein. Good sources of protein include lean meat, fish and poultry, in addition to eggs, whole grains, dairy products and legumes. -Drink more calories. Try drinking a large glass of orange juice in the mornings (along with your normal breakfast). Drink a glass or two of full-cream milk throughout the day. -Have 6 small and frequent meals in a day. -Gain muscle mass. It's a good idea to continue to exercise while you attempt to gain weight the healthy way. Strength training includes working with weights and performing exercises such as squats, deadlifts, bench presses, bicep curls, crunches, chin-ups and leg curls. Just keep in mind that the more you exercise, the more calories you will need to consume to replace those you lost while working out. -Quit smoking. As it suppresses the appetite. -Stay healthy. The most important thing through the entire weight gain process is to stay healthy - eating a balanced diet and continuing to exercise throughout. -Take enough of rest and sleep for rejuvenation of the cells and tissues. -Think Positive which will help you in achieving your target of gaining weight. -Avoid taking unnecessary stress/ tension. Medication: Take Schwabe’s Alfaalfa Tonic and Five Phos., both thrice daily ½ an hour before meals for 3months. Revert.

C.S.C, D.C.H, M.B.B.S
General Physician,
Twitching can occur after physical activity because lactic acid accumulates in the muscles used during exercise. It most often affects the arms, legs, and back. Muscle twitches caused by stress and anxiety are often called “nervous ticks.” They can affect any muscle in the body

hi. generally wt gain is not related to calcium intake. there are many other factors dt control it. a simple logic to explain it can be increasing calcium levels in bones which can cause minimal weight gain. however, u taking calcium will not help u gain weight. u need to consult a doctor privately in order to help urself

1) maintain a regular sleep routine go to bed at the same time. Wake up at the same time. Ideally, your schedule will remain the same (+/- 20 minutes) every night of the week. A good sleep hygiene routine promotes healthy sleep and daytime alertness. 3) avoid caffeine, nicotine, and alcohol near bedtime. While alcohol may speed the onset of sleep, it creates problems in he second half of sleep. 4) exercise can promote good sleep. Exercise should be taken in the morning or late afternoon. Yoga, can be done before bed to help. 5) have a quiet, comfortable bedroom. Set your bedroom thermostat at a comfortable temperature. Generally, a little cooler is better than a little warmer. Turn off the tv and other extraneous noise that may disrupt sleep. Background'white noise' like a fan is ok. If your pets awaken you, keep them outside the bedroom. Your bedroom should be dark. Turn off bright lights. Have a comfortable mattress. 6) avoid heavy meals close to bedtime. 7) ensure adequate exposure to natural light. 8) avoid emotionally upsetting conversations and activities before trying to go to sleep. Do not think of, or bring your problems to bed. 9) stop using all your digital devices and stop looking at digital screens be it mobile phones or televisions at least 1 hour before the time you plan to sleep. Instead try reading a fiction book near bedtime so it makes you help relaxed and de-stressed. You can start omega 3 fatty acid supplements to help once or twice daily is the best way to consume omega 3 capsules with fish oil. You can keep taking it for months and experience slightly improved immunity and general well being. They improve circulation and boost the metabolism in the cells of the body.

Isi karan me apne carrier me bhi kuch ni kar pa raha hu please aap meri help kariye

Hi lybrate-user, I can understand your concern. But don't make your body weight such a priority that you lose sight of everything else which is more important. Suicide for any reason is not the solution. There is solution for everything. If you are underweight, then you may want to see a doctor in order to rule out a serious medical condition. This is particularly important if you have recently started losing large amounts of weight without even trying. Eat Lots of Carbs and Fat, and Eat at Least 3 Times Per Day Plate With Meat, Beans and Potatoes Many people try restricting either carbs or fat when they are trying to lose weight. This is a bad idea if your goal is to gain weight, because it will make it harder to get in enough calories. 1) Eat plenty of high-carb and high-fat foods if weight gain is a priority for you. It is best to eat plenty of protein, fat and carbs at each meal. It is also a bad idea to do intermittent fasting. This is useful for weight loss and health improvement, but can make it much harder to eat enough calories to gain weight. Make sure to eat at least 3 meals per day, and try to add in energy-dense snacks whenever possible. 2) Eat Lots of Protein The single most important nutrient for gaining healthy weight is protein. Muscle is made of protein, and without it most of those extra calories may end up as body fat. Studies show that during periods of overfeeding, a high protein diet causes many of the extra calories to be turned into muscle (However, keep in mind that protein is a double-edged sword. It is also highly filling, so that it can reduce your hunger and appetite significantly. This can make it harder to get in enough calories If you’re trying to gain weight, aim for 0.7-1 grams of protein per pound of body weight (1.5 – 2.2 grams of protein per kilogram). You can even go above that if your calorie intake is very high. High-protein foods include meats, fish, eggs, many dairy products, legumes, nuts and others. Protein supplements like whey protein can also be useful if you struggle to get enough protein in your diet. Here are some energy-dense foods that are perfect for gaining weight: Nuts: Almonds, walnuts, macadamia nuts, peanuts, etc. Dried fruit: Raisins, dates, prunes and others. High-fat dairy: Whole milk, full-fat yogurt, cheese, cream. Fats and Oils: Extra virgin olive oil and avocado oil. Grains: Whole grains like oats and brown rice. Meat: Chicken, beef, pork, lamb, etc. Choose fattier cuts. Tubers: Potatoes, sweet potatoes and yams. Dark chocolate, avocados, peanut butter, coconut milk, granola, trail mixes. Many of these foods are very filling, and sometimes you may need to force yourself to keep eating even if you feel full. It may be a good idea not to eat a ton of vegetables if gaining weight is a priority for you. It simply leaves less room for energy-dense foods. Eating whole fruit is fine, but try to emphasize fruit that doesn’t require too much chewing, such as bananas. 10 More Tips to Gain Weight Combining a high calorie intake with heavy strength training are the two most important factors. Here are 10 more tips to gain weight: Don’t drink water before meals. This can fill your stomach and make it harder to get in enough calories. Eat more often. Squeeze in an additional meal or snack whenever you can, such as before bed. Drink milk. Drinking whole milk to quench thirst is a simple way to get in more high-quality protein and calories. Try weight gainer shakes. If you are really struggling then you can try weight gainer shakes. These are very high in protein, carbs and calories. Use bigger plates. Definitely use large plates if you are trying to get in more calories, as smaller plates cause people to automatically eat less. Add cream to your coffee. This is a simple way to add in more calories. Take creatine. The muscle building supplement creatine monohydrate can help you gain a few pounds in muscle weight. Get quality sleep. Sleeping properly is very important for muscle growth. Eat your protein first and vegetables last. If you have a mix of foods on your plate, eat the calorie-dense and protein-rich foods first. Eat the vegetables last. Don’t smoke. Smokers tend to weigh less than non-smokers, and quitting smoking often leads to weight gain. Consult with me for counseling and further plan.
