I am taking yamini pill & my breastfeed baby gets irritated & refuses to sleep & crying. Is it side effect of yamini or other issue?

Hello, Lybrate user, yamini is used as oral contraceptive, checking uterine bleeding, recurrent miscarriage & painful menstruation. So long you are feeding your baby, menstrual discharge is restricted for 6 month atleast, hence miss carriage is over ruled. Drospirenone, and Ethinylestradiol being active ingredients, of yamini might affect the breast feeding and the taste of the milk might be altered which might irritate the baby. Tk care.
