Medicine is given after ruling out possibility of adverse drug interactions. Only those medicines are given together that won't do any harm if given at a time in certain big hospitals they have a specialist in pharmacology who examines prescriptions of multiple drugs otherwise also a doctor is well aware of these interactions.
