This has been bothering me for a while but I ignored it. So I have been having pains in my left chest cavity and my back just behind my left chest while I am breathing. I mean I can't take deepbreaths. This happens only for like maximum 5-10 minutes and then I am back to normal. And happens not that often but happens. What is this and what should I do?

Dear lybrateuser, - Your problem could be due to muscular or lung problem - avoid exertion, do not lift weight, exercise or bend too much - apply over the counter pain killer gel three times a day - take tab Paracetamol if pain is more for maximum of three tablets per day - if not much relief then do x-ray chest, ECG to know the exact cause, consult a doctor.
