Respected sir/dr, my Dr. advised me 15 years ago when he started diabetic treatment to invariably take b vitamin such as becosules life long since diabetes needs extra B vitamin. But my present Dr. is not advising, what shall I do?

lybrate-user, If blood glucose is well controlled with fastting closer to 100 mg, PP 160 to 180 mg & HbA1c%<7, and if you are on a good healthy diet, there is hardly any need for routine vitamin supplement. If you still want to take the same may do so occasionally. Most important is to have strict blood glucose control, balanced diet and regular exercise. Thanks.
