Thank you for the query angiography is a procedure where the vessels of a particular organ are visualised by an image intensifier after inserting a contrast dye. If the vessels of the heart are visualised it is called coronary angiography. The dye may be inserted by any artery like the femoral artery (groins) or radial artery (wrist). The clear picture of the cardiac vessels may be obtained, whether there is any stenosis (block) or not and the extent of such a block. If the creatinine of a person is high it is risky to do such procedures.
