Bun is made from maida which is a simple carb, low in fibre & nutrients. Simple carbs leads to sudden rise in blood glucose levels thus increasing the chance of developing obesity & diabetes. Always prefer complex carbs for a healthy diet regimen- atta, dalia, suji, ragi, bajra, jowar, barley, oats. It is best to avoid processed & packaged foods as much as possible due to the harmful chemical additives & additional sodium in these.
