Hi, we have a stray cat that lives in our house. That cat is not vaccinated with rabies. Now, that cat scratched me a little. The scratch is not bleeding. I got myself vaccinated for rabies around 2 years back by taking 5 doses because a cat bite me. Do I need to do anything? How long the rabies vaccine is effective? The cat looks completely normal. I mean she is showing no sign of being rabid. Can I get rabies from such an animal? Am I safe or in danger? Please help me with this.
