5 years ago doctor done filling of my teeth because of cavity infection. Now the problem is that filling came out of the tooth and tooth start paining. It gets hurt with simple water too. Other doctors said root canal will be done. I don't want rct treatment capping etc. I know filling can't be done because half of the tooth got broken when filling came out. Please suggest any other possible solution. Either I want to take the teeth out or any other solution please?

Mam your tooth filling come out as a result of broken piece of original tooth now the thing is after fracture filling if you are not having pain it can be re restorable but you have pain as you said when ever pain is there it indicates involved pulp soft tissue in that case root canal t/t r. C. T. Is 1st line of t/t if you have some confusion you can go for xray it will give vision for your t/t decision making take care.

At this young age loosing a vital tooth is not advisable to save it rct is the only option otherwise u loose the tooth n have to take a prosthesis for that
