I am 25 year old female. I underwent a scar revision surgery for a burn scar located on my face 18 days back. Dissolvable sutures were used for the procedure. The incision site looks very inflamed, however I don't experience any pain or itching. The newly formed skin looks worse than before. For how long is it supposed to stay this inflamed? Have I developed an infection?

Hello lybrate-user. You should not wait for this to get answered by the doctors who haven't seen the scar or treated it. Visit the doctor who originally treated it and get yourself checked up. In case he/she cannot help, feel free to consult for homoeopathic treatment. You can use calendula ointment.
