Hello doctor. My child is suffering from autism. He is 1 year old. Thankfully it was detected on time and its treatment is going on. I am curious to know everything about it as I don?t want to take any chances related to his health. While gathering information, I came across with another term autism spectrum disorder. Doctor please help me know the difference between autism and autism spectrum disorder?

There is no difference between the two. The autism spectrum disorder (asd) is the clinical definition for autism.
