I had been taking r32 homeo drops for sweat control which helped control excess sweat however face becomes darker and oily. Should I control the sweat or sebum? Hello. Neither sweat nor sebum can directly make your skin darker. However, excessive sweat, sebum production and dead skin cells can cause clogged pores which results in comedones (blackheads) and can make the face appear congested, dull and dark in color. Increased melanin production, commonly due to sun exposure also causes hyperpigmentation. All these issues needs to be taken care of for overall healthy skin. You can reach out to me for detailed advice and treatment plan.
