Oral low dose contraceptive pills have great efficacy to prevent pregnancy, and also favourable protective action on breast, uterus. Generally other than very occasional incidents of nausea vomiting weight gain no side effects occur. But yes, it has to be taken daily without fail, preferably around the same time
