I am a 25-year-old female. In the past couple of months I was having health anxiety and ocd issues and did breast self-exams very frequently (almost every day) but not in a correct way (i rubbed the breasts as I wished to touch the breast tissues and understand what?s in there). Now i?m anxious of whether this act will cause long-term harm to my breasts. For example, did it over-stimulate the breasts or hormones that might cause breast cancers? I have had ocd issues that I feel like I have to press and rub my breasts to make sure nothing was wrong there. Thank you!
