Hello Dr. I need to check my male hormone level which is testosterone. I am confused as there are 2 test, total testosterone and free testosterone. Which should I need to do for proper results. And what is difference between both test! as I checked sample report in free testosterone total testosterone is also included. I need a clarification as I need to get it done.

These are levels of testosterone. Total is the amount of testosterone that is being secreted and free testosterone is the level of testosterone which is free to act that means not bound to sex globulin and is the main active component. But you should go for both along with lh fsh prolactin.
