My daughter age is 22 yrs. She have uti she has dne urine test both culture and routine. Her culture report was positive now again she had done urine routine test which shows pus cells 5-6 and epithelial cells 6-7 and a few bacteria. Does she have to take antibiotics? Which and how long.

She had to improve personal hygeine-------use v-wash with water for cleaning of private area after passing urine and stools and during bathmobilewhen she clean her private area --only move hand and water from front to back---never from back to front---as it will bring many microorganisms from vaginal outlet to urinary orifice leading to uti again----she has to drink 12--15 glass of water daily---she must pass urine -every 4 hours---use clean and hygeinic toilets only--------if she is forced to pass urine in unhygeinic toilet --let her stand and pass urine and clean legs etc where waterdrops from toilet may have fallen--with soap and water----consult a doctor for starting antibiotic etc.
