I eat 2 lbs of tuna a day and have done this for 2 years. When I told a friend this he asked how I wasn't suffering from mercury poisoning. Should I be worried?

Hi lybrate-user, yes recent us studies have shown that high content of mercury levels in fish. But it does not cause any symptoms of mercury poisoning as it is taken. But pregnant women and children need to be very careful regarding this. So nothing to worry regarding this as of now. Try decreasing the frequency of tuna intake. Hope I answered your question, do not hesitate to ask me any quiries if you have. Have a great day.
