Treatment of piles depends on the grade of it. Upto grade 3 are treated conservatively. Patients who have failed conservative therapy or who have grade 4 hemorrhoids are candidates for surgery. Avoid constipation. Eat 3-4 servings of fruits everyday. Take stool softeners eg isabgol husk in warm milk every night. Apply proctosedyl ointment before and after defeacation. Get your self checked by a surgeon too. Hope this helps you.
