Male 22 I have only one testicle, right one was removed due to torsion 4 months back and left one was fixed with 3 point fixation. Left testicle has bunched up tubes near it, which disappear on lying down. Easily palpable. There is no pain I consulted a surgeon (different one) who said I am able to feel these cords because my scrotum skin is thin. He only did a physical exam and no usg. Could these be varicocele? How much time does it take for varicocele to do damage to testicle? Is testicular atrophy common. Please suggest next steps.
