My wife aged 68 years has fatty liver with cap 367 db/m and e 11.5 kpa. Her lft and tgl are normal. She is taking thyronorm 50 mcg and her thyroid level is also in control. She is non diabetic. Our doctor has recommended here to take saroglitazar 4 mg to prevent deterioration of live. Is it safe and recommended drug? Understand saroglitazar 4 mg is still under clinical trials and most countries including usa have not approved it.
