Hello doctor I am diagnosed with dyspepsia. My doctor gave me some medications and now I am feeling much better. I want to know will this dyspepsia go away or it will always come back again and again whenever I eat spicy foods? Please give a list of foods that I can eat and those that I should not eat. I want to know which fruits and vegetables can I consume and those also that I cannot consume.

Dear User, Glad to know the medication worked. But unfortunately upon consumption of Spicy and oily foods dyspepsia will again act up. This can be avoided by making lifestyle and diet modifications. 1.Eat smaller meals slowly so digestion is easier. Avoid heavy meals instead spilt one meal into two courses within a span of 1-2 hrs. 2.Completely avoid alcohol and smoking. 3.Avoid caffeinated beverages. 4. Avoid stress as much as possible. 5. Avoid citrus fruits like oranges, lemons, mausambi etc 6. Keep your leg elevated at night while sleeping. If you found my answer helpful, please leave a like/ thanks. Thank you.
