I have dryness, itching ,pain ,burning in vaginal rt side opening every time after sex. At least 3 months once I get the same problem .when it came at 2018 for the first time I suffered a lot .doctor checked the area and gave me doxy1, gudcef 200, bromezer, vozet,intiwash then symptoms subsided. I take the same medicine for the past 2 yes when ever symptoms develop. If my husband use condom I will never develop such symptoms I am 40 yrs, taking bath 2 times a day and I have white discharge problem but nt get cured by medicine .i took pap smear, hpv test before one year (negative) and pid problem. But I don't have any extra marital relationship. I want to know the reason doctor kindly guide me. Shall I use the same medicine for every time?

It's better to consult your gynecologist when you have these symptoms rather than taking self medication. Also get your blood sugars tested. If you have recurrent infection, a probiotics too may help.

You have vaginal candidiasis. Your husband also requires treatment, otherwise you will again get the infection. Your husband can be treated with tab flucos 150 twice daily for 3 dys. Then he can be given oral antifngal agents like miconazol 200 twice daily x 2 days. Use luligel for li week.

whenever you get a sexually transmitted infection even if it is a yeast infection you need treatment of the partner as well for the completeness of the procedure so that u won't get recurrence. check blood sugar values for both husband and wife and also try probiotics for a month after treatment for both of u
