Hi, I have been suffering from recurrent painful bartholin's cyst/abscess since january. I have gotten it checked by the doctor and he always puts me on antibiotics and pain killer. It gives relief but the cyst keeps returning. It gets extremely painful and it gets difficult to sit and walk. I have been doing sits bath 4 times a day but it's still very painful. Please suggest a medicine that would cure the cyst and prevent it from returning. Thanks.

Hii Lybrate user, it's very painful condition, I have seen such patients and sitz bath do give relief for some time. I would suggest you for maintaining proper hygeine, avoid every possible chance of infection and if you can get the discharge culture test, the infection can be treated. Medication you can start with silicea 30, thuja 30 potency 10 drops 6 times a day and do follow up for next medicine to prevent recurrence. Take care.
