In last year I was suffered from cough for more than 8-9 months ,i also go for checkups and all and doctors says I am normal and I just have common cold .and now in this year .i didn't suffer from cough yet. I am thinking that my blood made the antibodies against my cough virus so I didn't catch any cough yet. Can these antibodies can fight against (sars-cov-2)?

Many viruses causing common cold come from corona virus family. So there is a chance of cross immunity to some extent. But such immunity is likely to be short lived as you may have seen that we get common cold within a few months since the last episode. However, no definite opinion is possible at this point due to paucity of data. Coming to your cough, this may be due to asthma also. Get a pft done.

I think it is a case of Allergy. Weather this year might not have caused allergy and you are OK. Viral attack may not last for 8-9 months. Presuming you have good immunity , which is more a natural gift, you may be in better position to resist infection. Antibody is not an immunity but a defense response to an attack of Virus or bacteria or taking a vaccine Antibodies formed by body as a resposne to one virus or a vaccine may not work against another virus . Hence do not be under impression that now you can take life easy against Covid 19. All precauations to avoid infection will have to be taken. Immunity and Antibodies areboth different entities.
