Minimal change disease is a problem of the kidney. Steroids are first line of drugs. Omnacortil is a steroid. It has to be given to the baby for a long time. You will also be advised to do urine test at home using dipsticks/ or at a lab. Before a change in dose in medicine is done. Since your baby is so young, some further tests may also be advised.
