My baby son is 8 months old. Since yesterday he started developing fever. Initially temperature was below 100 and he vomited once. Yesterday night it rose to 100.1 f. Today during daytime it rose to 102 f. He has been breastfeeding regularly and but after fever developed, his appetite has decreased. He eats a spoonful of cerelac and is breastfeeding normally. Besides fever he is having cough but not frequently only once or twice. It's raining heavily in our guwahati city and the weather is very humid. We also put on ceiling fan. He has vomited thrice. His mother made him wash his chest and back with lukewarm water in the evening at 4 pm yesterday, after taking his dinner meal he cried a little. He is crying with fussiness, whenever he is awake. We consulted a local pediatrician and gave him 1 ml paracetamol paediatric oral suspension ip once. Doctor advised us to give him 1 ml every 6 hours. Till now his temperature hasn't come down after touching 102 f. Please help us out.
