Chicken pox is a viral disease. Hence no specific treatment. It is a self limiting disease and normally harmless in childhood. But as age advances there is possibility of problems. Hence sometimes doctors prefer short course of antiviral tablets. When treating for symptoms paractmol works for fever and bodypain, allegra for itching sensation. Antibiotics only when there is superadded infection of skin rash. Then azithral may be ok.
