I am pregnant for 13 weeks 5 days. And didn't take folic acid tablet as came to know late. Should necessary to take double marker test my baby crl is 77. 7 mm and nt is 2.3 mm.is is der chance of down syndrome. Pls answer.

Have you had any first trimester screening blood tests like pappa or beta hcg? Nt less than 3 mm (11-13 weeks) is good however, simply nt scan has less accuracy of 50-60 percent, hence it's advisable to take second trimester down screen markers, and consult a fetal medicine specialist. Given your age of 35, I strongly recommend second trimester markers and detailed anomaly scan at 18-20 weeks.

Hi. The nt/nb scan is routinely always followed up with a dual marker test for a more sensitive and specific evaluation. You should get it done. All the best, do not get stressed.
