Hi, posting on behalf of a friend. Her mother is on her period this month which started on 5th may and has lasted till date. She feels extreme weakness because of this. Onetime this lasted for 20 days. She is 52 years old. She had consulted a doctor who had suggested surgical menopause but got a secondary opinion from another doctor who said that it should happen naturally no need for operation. The ultrasound reports were also normal. This consultation was in 2018. She still gets her period. She lives in bhagalpur so as of now there are not many doctors available to see patients the one who suggested operation is the only one seeing patients in today's scenario. Now her dilemma is that whether she should go for a surgical menopause or natural one. There's no pain just a lot of weakness. Requesting to give some valuable insights on this. Thanks.
