You can take this tablet only after having meal and not more than 3 tablets per day. In addition to this he should try brushing his teeth twice or thrice daily after meals. Ask him to rinse mouth with a glass of warm salt water (half spoon in a glass of warm water). After this he should keep small cotton ball soaked in Clove oil (easily available at any medical store) in the cavity of paining tooth. Toothache is just a symptom.
We need to find the cause like dental caries, gingivitis, abscess. And then take proper treatment for the reason.
The pain will disappear.
Taking painkiller blindly may not give relief or may give temporary relief only.
