I am 42 years old unmarried. I got operation -Lap myomectomy under GA for fibroids on I got my first period after 10 days of operation only for two days and next period was after 28 days which was very very painful and also had savior back pain during 3 days of monthly cycle. After 5 days I consulted doctor and she prescribed Novelon tablets 21 day course for 3 months. I search details of the tablet and found its an birth control pills and for regular period. Since I am unmarried and no chances of intercourse and have regular periods even though its painful 2 month after my lap operation. Why should I take this medicine.
