My father is feeling a whizzing sound at the back of head and vertigo quite often from past one month. His age is 60. Please suggest what could this be ?

Whizzing sound & giddiness can be caused by a rise in the blood pressure or by certain ear conditions (Meniere's disease, labyrinthitis, acoustic neuroma etc). He needs an ENT evaluation to rule out the sinister causes.
