Hi, Can tryptomer 10 mg drug which contains amitriptyline used for Interstitial Cystitis if yes what is the dose. I am currently using the drug IC for me by cipla 100 mg which contains pps as per my doctor's prescription from past 10 days. My doctor is not available now. I know pps will take at least 3 months to give proper response. But I am facing very crucial exams in nearby days. Hence, I want to use the drug tryptomer 10 mg for quick response. Please suggest can I use the above mentioned two drugs at the same time.

In severe luts associated with pain during micturition tryptomer 25 mg evening dose is quite helpful I use and many people use it for IC.
