I am a 54 year old male. Recently I got my stress TMT test done and the doctor suggested for angiography. On angiography I had 85 % blockage and doctor suggested for stent placement on 12 june 2018, which I agreed .he put three stents. I am now taking 4 medicines daily they are Brilinta - twice, rosuvas, ecosprin and embetta 50 mg once. Previously I was suffering from some prostrate problem and had been raking alfusin 10 mg in morning and urimax 0.2 mg in the night since more than a year. Though I maintain a relatively healthy lifestyle. But now my question is whether I should continue taking the previous medicines for urine problem and for how long I shall have to take the heart related medicines. Sometimes I feel quite weak and not able to walk the way I used to before the angioplasty.

Mr. lybrate-user Hello, first weakness due to cardiac medicines. You have to continue medicine in heavy doses for 1 years because there is risk of stent blockage till 1 years thereafter you have to take one or two medicines for lifelong. You can continue your urology medicine. Take care. Thanks.
