I had candida infection in the soft palate of mouth 1 year ago and I took itraconazole for a week. 95 % of it got cured but there have been few white patches left. It has not overgrown beyond the affected area. All the blood test report were normal. Last week I had a slight itch on the same area. Also I hound some white patches on the skin of penis too which is also itching. I again took itraconazole 200 mg as consulted by a local physician. Now the white patches are gone from the penis but not completely gone from the mouth. The itching has stopped. I am clueless now .if it is candida or some thing more dangerous which is recurring in nature.
