Is sprouts and soy diet good for patient who is having hypothyroidism ?

No. Cruciferous vegetables, brussel sprouts and soy are know goitrogens. They interfere with iodine absorption, iodine is a raw material for thyroid hormone production. So ideally yes this should be avoided especially by hypothyroid patients. But due to nutritional benefits of some of the vegetables like broccoli, cauliflower, brussels sprouts, etc they can be consumed in small quantity. In autoimmune disorder mechanism is different.
