I jumped from 7 feet.My ankle twisted. There's this soft tissue injury. I did not rest in the first week as I wasn't able to. I rested for 7 days after that. Now, it looks a little fine. Now, what should be done? Should I walk little bit side by side so that there's a movement in the foot and Also, is it recommended to to walk in this injury? Please let me know. Thanks.

Your history suggests high energy trauma. Try applying Ice packs. Keep affected limb elevated. Medications like Enzomac will help in swelling. Persistent pain and swelling can be due to either fracture or ligament sprains. Ideal time for ligament recovery is 4 weeks. It also requires strict immobilisation, probably with a cast.
